Xbox Games Showcase 2025 & Outer Worlds 2 Direct Announced For June

Microsoft has announced today that the huge Xbox Games Showcase for 2025 will officially take place on Sunday, June 8th (in most regions), and it'll be followed by a special Direct dedicated to Obsidian's The Outer Worlds 2.

Here are all the dates and start times for the Xbox Games Showcase 2025:

• North America: 10am PDT / 11am MDT / 12pm CDT / 1pm EDT
• UK/Ire: 6pm BST
• Europe: 7pm CEST / 8pm EEST
• Asia/Oceania: 2am (Mon) JST / 1am (Mon) AWST / 3am (Mon) AEST
• Your Local Time: 10am, Sun 8th Jun 2025 Mountain Standard Time

Interestingly, the Xbox Games Showcase this year will be digital-only, meaning no kind of physical event appears to be in the works - although perhaps fans might be invited to watch it as part of the usual Xbox FanFest celebrations.

In terms of The Outer Worlds 2, we know very little about the game so far aside from that it's dated for 2025. The fact that it's getting a special Direct at the Xbox Games Showcase suggests it'll be with us sooner rather than later.

Immediately following Showcase, The Outer Worlds 2 Direct will bring you inside the walls of Obsidian Entertainment, revealing new gameplay, details, and developer insights, straight from the people making the sequel to the award-winning, first-person sci-fi RPG.
