PS Store Drops Free Demo for Upcoming Open-World RPG

Once in a blue moon, the PS Store releases a demo worth playing. They may not all end up being bangers, but it’s always great to have the option to check a game out before making a regrettable purchase. This includes a new demo for Awaken Realms’ upcoming open-world RPG that will surely interest Skyrim fans.

Skyrim-like Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon demo now available on PS Store​

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is a dark fantasy RPG developed by Questline and published by Awaken Realms. It is set in Avalon long after King Arthur has passed. As seen in the trailer below, it’s a first-person RPG and looks very reminiscent of Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls series.

“King Arthur is long dead and all the myths and legends are falling,” reads the PS Store description. “Humans living in Avalon are desperately trying to find new ways of life and things to believe in. The plague of Red Death and the spreading Wyrdness are not helping. Time is running out and multiple factions have their own plan for the future of the island.”

Players who are unsure if the Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon demo is a waste of time may find solace in the fact that its user reviews on Steam are positive. “Very positive,” to be specific. Across a total of 3,309 reviews as of this writing, it seems players who played the Early Access version through Valve’s digital gaming storefront are enjoying it.
