The action adventure weighs in at a whopping 132GB on Xbox Series X, and it ain't much better on PS5. As per the ever-reliable PlayStation Game Size on X (formerly Twitter), it's a 125GB download on Sony's current-gen system.
To be fair, most of us are used to a similar level of chunkiness when it comes to AAA games — but it's still the kind of file size that'll prompt plenty of players to delete one or two titles from their console's SSD.
The bottom line is that it's a big one, and you'll probably need to at least consider making some space ahead of the game's PS5 launch next week, on the 17th April.
Given how good the MachineGames release looks, coupled with how cinematic it is, it's no huge surprise to learn that it's so demanding in terms of storage. But at the same time, we wouldn't have blamed you for thinking that it'd be squeezed down a bit on PS5 — especially since the aforementioned compression tech was pushed as a selling point back in the system's early days.
