GTA 5 Officially Returns To Xbox & PC Game Pass This Month

Update [Thu 3rd Apr 2025, 7:37am]: It's official! GTA 5 will be coming to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on April 15th, with the console version being available for both Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Standard members.

If you’ve been missing the streets of Los Santos, I’m excited to share that Grand Theft Auto V is making its way back to Game Pass on April 15! And for those of us who play on PC, I’m even happier to announce that GTAV Enhanced will be playable with PC Game Pass, and includes the latest features, like Hao’s Special Works Vehicles and more.

Original Story: We've got a big Xbox Game Pass addition set to arrive later this month! It's being reported by a couple of GTA insiders today that GTA V will be making a return on Xbox Game Pass in April 2025, presumably in two or three weeks' time.

One of the accounts reporting this is GTA Series Videos, which mentions that GTA V will be available on console, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming when it joins Xbox Game Pass in April. Here's what they said about it:

Also, GTAV and GTA Online hit Xbox Game Pass later this month on Console, PC, and Cloud.

As you may recall, we've seen GTA 5 on Xbox Game Pass in the past, and it usually only sticks around a few months before being removed again. That sounds like the perfect strategy for Take-Two ahead of GTA 6's release this fall!

There's no official release date for GTA 5 on Xbox Game Pass just yet, but we're expecting to learn more in the near future. As soon as we hear anything, we'll obviously let you know the deets.
