The popular configuration and setup tool for everything emulation related, EmuDeck, has recently updated their tool to version 2.4.

This new version adds new emulators, new options, a revamped manual, and much, much more.
Two of the more important additions to this new release are the support and compatibility for two of the newest emulators in the scene, those being Citron and Azahar, and while Citron is still not available through EmuDeck's downloader and updater, users can easily provide their own Citron executable (be it EXE or AppImage) in what they call BYO Citron (Bring Your Own Citron), and EmuDeck will be available to detect it and configure the emulator properly for ease usage.

Here's the full list of new features in EmuDeck 2.4:
  • Integration selection
  • Auto add ESDE to Steam
  • New BIOS checker
  • BYO Citron
  • Azahar
  • New wiki: http://manual.emudeck.com
  • New Emulators for EmuDeck Windows:
    • Model 2
    • Supermodel
    • BigPemu

EmuDeck users can update their version by opening EmuDeck, and it will automatically update itself. However, users might also need to reset the configuration of their emulators in order for their games and new emulator settings to be updated properly with the newest EmuDeck update, so don't forget to reset the configuration of your emulators under the option "Manage Emulators", and also, reset the configuration of both ES-DE and Steam ROM Manager (SRM). If SRM is not reset with the newest update, users won't be able to see Citron nor Azahar as new options for the ROM parsers for adding them to Steam.
