But that's not quite the case, according to in-the-know Tom Henderson. The Insider Gaming scribe took to social media overnight, stating that Marathon isn't getting some kind of shadow drop after the event — but it will unveil a closed alpha process (which makes much more sense at this point).
Just to reiterate, the Marathon showcase is happening on Saturday, the 12th April at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST. You can expect a gameplay deep dive alongside an overview of what Bungie's trying to achieve with its new project.
