Assassin's Creed Shadows Racks Up One Million Players In Less Than 24 Hours

We always knew that Assassin's Creed Shadows was going to be an extremely popular release across Xbox and beyond, but Ubisoft must be really pleased to see that it passed the one-million player mark after less than 24 hours.

The news was announced on social media yesterday by the AC Shadows team:

"It's not even 4PM here in Canada and Assassin's Creed Shadows has already passed 1 million players! Thank YOU from the bottom of our hearts for joining this adventure in Feudal Japan. We are beyond excited to start this journey with you!"

Unfortunately, the "Top Paid" Xbox charts don't update regularly enough for us to know how well Assassin's Creed Shadows is faring right now on there, but we're assuming it's going to take the #1 spot from Split Fiction very soon!

The reviews have been great for Assassin's Creed Shadows as well, and here at Pure Xbox, we went 'hands on' with the game and determined that it's "an incredibly atmospheric, and deliciously dark slice of Assassin's Creed".
