Half-Life 2 is getting a “cutting-edge ray tracing” overhaul courtesy of Nvidia’s RTX Remix modding tools, and there’s a playable demo coming on 18th March ahead of a full release. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 gets mod support, a barber shop, and “over a thousand” fixes and improvements
Following a hugely successful launch that saw over 1m people snapping up Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 in just 24 hours, developer Warhorse Studios continues to plug away at its post-release roadmap. And that brings us to today, and the release of the medieval action-RPG’s 1.2 update, adding mod support, a barber shop, and “over a thousand” fixes and improvements. Ubisoft has some good news for Steam Deck owners looking to sink into Assassin’s Creed Shadows later this month: after previously saying the game wouldn’t be compatible with Valve’s gaming handheld, it’s now done a bit of a U-turn. GTA publisher sues “lawless enterprise” allegedly selling modified accounts and currency obtained through hacking
Grand Theft Auto and Borderlands publisher Take-Two Interactive is suing PlayerAuctions – an online marketplace already targeted in a complaint by Roblox – accusing it of selling “heavily modified” player accounts, items, and virtual currency obtained through hacks and cheats. Take-Two’s lawsuit – filed in the US Central District Court of California last week and spotted by Polygon – targets PlayerAuctions’ Chinese owner Paiao Network Technology.
