Well, here’s a very interesting story: Polish developer People Can Fly has entered into an agreement with Sony Interactive Entertainment to produce a mystery game based on an existing PlayStation IP. The new game is codenamed Project Delta and we know almost nothing else about it except that it’s based on a PlayStation owned IP. That leaves a lot of room for speculation. People Can Fly has developed and co-developed a lot of games over the years, but typically gravitates toward first and third-person shooters – Gears of War: Judgement, Outriders and Bulletstorm, just to name a few. The company…
Sony has brought its hardware rental service to the UK, allowing prospective customers to lease a variety of PlayStation hardware. Lease with Flex first popped up in Japan last month, but has now made its way to the rainy shores of the UK. Ran by a third-party service, the idea is that you visit the PlayStation website and agree to lease a console or piece of hardware on a rolling monthly basis, or 12-months to 3-years. PS5, PS5 Pro, the PS Portal, PSVR2, and the PS5 DualSense Edge pad are all up for grabs. Console / DeviceMonthly12 Months24 Months36 MonthsDigital…
Eight years since his last adventure Styx the goblin is sneaking back to star in his fourth game. The new game, titled Blades of Greed, was announced at Nacon Connect and is going to release on PS5, Xbox Series S/X and PC sometime in Fall of this year. “Developed once again by Cyanide Studio, Styx: Blades of Greed is a blend of stealth, action and strategy set in a vertically expansive medieval fantasy world,” says the press release. “Staying true to its winning formula, the game offers open-ended environments, a vast range of powers and tools, and multiple approaches to completing objectives.…
It seems Focus Entertainment, Saber Interactive and Games Workshop want to strike while the bolter bullet is still hot, announcing the existence of Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 3. The previous game, Space Marine 2, was launched just 6 months ago. The new game is apparently just entering development, meaning we probably won’t get to play it for at least a few years. I’m personally not a fan of announcing games this far out from their actual release, but I assume the companies involved wanted to get this announcement out of the way to help boost their stock prices. Unsurprisingly, very…
It seems that the long-rumoured and long-awaited Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion remake might finally be making an appearence, at least according to the fairly reliable insider NateTheHate. Replying to an X user who asked NateTheHate whether he was expecting any news this month, Nate replied: “Either this month or next month. Release is likely to be sooner than the original June target; but still working to get details on an updated release date.” Either this month or next month. After putting you in charge of healthcare (terrible idea) and then the education of the next generation (they never stood a chance), the latest and biggest entry in the Two Point series is giving you a job where you can do less damage to your fellow humans: running museums, where the only threat to life and limb is when the caveman defrosts and starts drawing grafiti on everything. While much of what Two Point Museum does is familiar, the folk at Two Point have added a lot to this sequel, making it the deepest and best entry in the breezy…
Atomfall Hands-On Preview – Rebellion’s New IP is More Than Just British Fallout – WGB
When the offer to spend 90 minutes with Rebellion’s brand new IP Atomfall arrived in my inbox, my reply was less professional and more an enthuastic yes screamed across an Email. After spending some time with the upcoming alternate-history game (due to release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC on March 27) I’ve come away very intrigued. Though a little stiff and rough around the edges – which is hardly surprising given the double A space Rebellion works in – Atomfall’s mix of slow-burn mystery, first-person survival gameplay and beautiful, post-apcolyptic British countryside might end up being…

Xbox has not been quiet about its plans to enter the handheld space lately. While it hasn’t revealed concrete plans about what form the handheld will take or when it might come out, Xbox head-honcho Phil Spencer has openly discussed the idea, although at the time he indicated they were still years away from launching it. However, a new report suggests an Xbox handheld device might be launching as early as this year. Jez Corden from Window’s Central has the pertinent information. He reveals that Xbox is working with a third-party to launch an Xbox branded handheld, with a release…
