Since the launch of Disco Elysium and subsequent turmoil at studio ZA/UM, fans of the game have been yearning for a similar game. Nintendo’s legal action against emulators continues yet again, as new DMCA takedown notices have been handed to several Ryujinx forks on Github. Back in October, 2024, Nintendo went after the creator of the Ryujinx emulator, gdkchan, who was residing in Brasil, and pressured the developer to taken down all assets related to the Switch emulator, alongside the organization in charge of the project. With its 20th March release date fast approaching, Ubisoft’s marketing machine for Assassin’s Creed Shadows is now in full flow — as evidenced by this lengthy 20-minute gameplay walkthrough. The footage manages to cover just about everything. Both protagonists — Naoe and Yasuke — get plenty of screentime, as they engage in stealthy infiltration as well as bloody violence. Some really nice environments are also on show, which change with the game’s all-new seasons system. We’re left wondering just how much a location can be altered depending on time of year. Our biggest takeaway, though, is that Shadows looks very polished on PS5 —…

With the highly anticipated Forza Horizon 5 right around the hairpin bend, Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown is about to experience some pretty stiff competition on the PS5. But after a meek launch plagued with problems, Nacon is not pulling the plug on the racer. A revised roadmap will see two new game modes added in Season 3 on 19th March: navigation races and convoy missions. The former actually looks quite cool: you’ll set a waypoint to a point of interest you want to travel to, and then will be able to set the fastest time on your way to it. Perhaps indicative of…

It’s incredibly difficult to make combat-orientated third-person character action games stand out in this day and age, but by hook and by crook, Hell Is Us has our attention. The game, which has been showcased at multiple State of Plays now, promises a semi-open sandbox in a hostile world. It blends dark fantasy with contemporary technology, so you’ll be armed with both a drone and a sword from a different timeline. You’ll need to use both to defeat the phantoms that roam the land. But this latest trailer doesn’t focus on the combat, and instead looks at the exploration and investigation gameplay. Developer Rogue…
