I have to admit, I’ve been pushing to get more eyes on Heroclix for several years now to basically no avail. When I had my Twitter account, I used to share some of my favorite Heroclix models, and I swear it was like suddenly I had zero followers; literally no interaction with my posts whatsoever. No one cared about these incredibly sick miniatures. Which is insane to me, because there are hundreds of Heroclix from across so many different IP: Marvel, DC, Dungeons & Dragons, Yu-Gi-Oh!, BioShock Infinite, Halo, Gears of War, and countless others. I’ve actually never found another…

It’s being described as a “genre-defining RPG” and there’s a teaser trailer that’s light on gameplay but heavy on disturbing imagery. Based on the trailer, we still don’t know if the game will pull mechanics or visuals from the highly-regarded Disco Elysium. A press release did note that folks would play as a spy of some kind and suggested that the game could actually, in part, take place in the human brain. Everything else is still shrouded in secrecy. What’s not shrouded in secrecy? ZA/UM has had, to put it lightly, a tumultuous several…

Image: XboxXbox’s new strategy has it releasing more games on more platforms, but there are still certain steps new players must follow if they want to join in on the fun. One of them happens to be mandatory Microsoft account logins. We’ve seen this with Sea Of Thieves and now sure enough, it’s come up with Forza Horizon 5, due out on PlayStation 5 this April. Although this probably shouldn’t catch too many players off guard at this point, as highlighted by our friends at Push Square, one detail in the official FAQ has raised questions about the preservation of…

Playdead, the studio behind indie hits Limbo and Inside, has demanded compensation and reimbursement from studio co-founder Dino Patti on claims of copyright infringement — an act that Patti describes as “bullying” from fellow co-founder Arnt Jensen (thanks for the heads up, Game Developer). The pair split shortly after Inside’s release in 2016, with Patti leaving to form Somerville studio Jumpship and, this week, the feud between the two has gone public. In a recent LinkedIn post, Patti claims that he has “repeatedly” received “legal love letters” from Playdead in the nine years since his departure. The latest of which,…
