Sony and Kojima Productions are planning a Death Stranding 2 blowout this weekend, as with an SXSW livestream set for Sunday, reliable Dealabs leaker Billbil-Kun has hinted at what details we should expect from the show. They say the announcement of the PS5 game’s release date and pre-order information are imminent, and will almost certainly be revealed during the SXSW panel.
Drilling into the few details Billbil-Kun reveals, they claim the release date reveal is right around the corner, and pre-orders will also go live this month, for both physical and digital versions. They state the Collector’s Edition will cost $230, but its contents are currently unknown. Meanwhile, the base game will be the usual $70 release.
All eyes, therefore, are on the Death Stranding 2 SXSW panel taking place this Sunday.
