EDGLRD, the studio founded by Harmony Korine, has launched a new video game division and announced its first title, Tamashika.
Tamashika is the first game being developed by EDGLRD Games. It’s a fast-paced arcade-style shooter. The game has been designed to be a pure sensory experience with its hand-drawn animations, precision sound effects, and upbeat background music.
Players will be armed with a semi-automatic pistol and a tantō blade. The world will be procedurally generated as players will battle their way through its many stages.
It’s set to launch sometime in the Summer 2025 season for the PC and it’s now available to wishlist on Steam.
A playable build of Tamashika will be available during Day of the Devs 2025 on March 16. The game will also be featured at the 2025 Game Developers Conference.
Additional details about Tamashika will be unveiled in the future.
