Sky High – The Jet Set Caper
We start off in New Orleans. Enter the French Quarter here to begin your investigations.
Chase down the thief with your grappling hook and you’ll collect your first clue here: that the suspect has “jet black hair”.
Next, you’ll be taught to use the ACME CrimeNet Database. Go to Search Suspects, switch to the Hair tab, and set the black wig to “Yes”. The black wig is the rightmost one in the list.
Select Apply Filters to narrow down the list to suspects who have black hair.
Next, head to Pirate’s Alley. You’ll learn from the conversation here that the VILE dead drop is in a safe.
There’s more clues to find here though:
- Street Cleaner: to the far right of the area. The clue here is that the suspect had a plane ticket with ‘I’ in the airport name.
- IT Worker: no information here.
- Painting on easel: We learn that Marie Laveau was the Voodoo Queen of the 1800s.
- Jazz players: We learn that Buddy Bolden was the forefather of jazz in New Orleans.
Once you’re done checking out the clues, interact with the white poster near the jazz players to find the safe.
Interact with the safe and play the mini-game to find the correct combination for it.
We learn here that the culprit took a stack of reais for their next destination.

You can now jet off to the next destination, but we’ll poke around a bit more in this walkthrough and investigate St Louis Cemetery.
Go to St Louis Cemetery and you’ll learn that VILE has a dead drop at Marie Laveau’s crypt.
As we’ve learnt from Pirate’s Alley, Marie Laveau was the Voodoo Queen of New Orleans, so pick that option.

We learn here that the culprit was studying Portuguese.
Head to the airport and you’ll be presented with three destinations to go to.
We know that the airport code had an “I” in it, the culprit planned to use reais, and was learning Portuguese. All these clues point to the culprit going to Rio de Janeiro, so head there now.

To progress, we need to go to the Royal Portuguese Reading Room. We’ll cover the other two locations first, for completion’s sake.
Go to Ipanema Beach and when you need to disguise yourself, change into a swimsuit.

We learn that the culprit is planning to travel to the Mediterranean.
Go to Rochinha Favela and complete the mini-game here to learn that the culprit wanted to see the Valley of the Kings, and that they carried a flashlight.

Now head to the Royal Portuguese Reading Room. There’s a few spots to examine here.
- Computer screen: you’ll learn that the virus is in the library’s wi-fi.
- Desk with globe: you’ll learn more about the Royal Portuguese Reading Room.
- Right-hand-side reading desks: there’s two reading desks close to the globe, which yield nothing.
- Left-hand-side reading desk: there’s one reading desk to the left. Interact with it twice to find the transmitter.
Solve the puzzle to proceed.
We learn a clue here that the culprit likes Mexican food.
After this, you can leave the area, or you can stay to talk to the librarian to look up the ISBN for the second book.
With this you’ll get the clue that the culprit was looking at air routes to Africa.
You’ll now be asked to narrow down the suspects. You’ve already set the black hair filter, so now set food to Mexican, and fear to Dark.
Apply the filters and you’ll have only one suspect matching all the data points: Li Non Mee.

Return to the airport now.
As the culprit is interested in Africa, near the Mediterranean, and where the Valley of the Kings is, your destination should be Cairo, Egypt.
As we’ve already narrowed down the suspect, go ahead and issue a warrant for Li Non Mee.

Here, based on the clue, you should go to either the Grand Egyptian Museum (antiques and trinkets), the Khan El-Khalili Market (spending money), or the River Nile Cruise (head above water).
You can go to the other two locations too, but you’ll lose time if you do so. (There don’t seem to be any other consequences).

With this, you’ve successfully cracked your first case and captured the culprit.
