The advent of French-made JRPGs looks set to be one of the biggest stories of the year, with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 looking absolutely amazing – and Edge of Memories showing real promise, too.
Developed by Midgar Studio, this is a sequel to Edge of Eternity with a more action-orientated combat system.
This new trailer focuses primarily on the plot – you play as a character called Eline in a world ravaged by a mysterious ailment known as The Corrosion – but also shows off some glimpses of gameplay, which sees you utilising the skills of your companions to take down your aggressors.
This game’s due out later in the year on PS5, and we’re really captivated by its colourful world and striking anime presentation. Will you be adding this one to your wishlist?
