The current weekly quests in Chapter 6 Season 2 of Fortnite will require you to search for the location of Golden Llamas.
Golden Llamas are a rare container type that you can find during matches in Battle Royale. It’s a very rare sight, but finding it is great for getting some goodies! Even some rare loot like Dill Bits, should you be lucky enough. Plus, as we mentioned already, they are required for Weekly Quests!

Search for Golden Llamas Location | Fortnite: Battle Royale
Sadly, we have some bad news: there’s no set spawn location for the Golden Llamas in Fortnite. Golden Llamas spawn in completely randomized spots every match. Just in case, the image above shows what they look like, at least.
Also, the number of Golden Llamas that spawn is pretty limited: only 3 will spawn each match. On the upside, they spawn in both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes. You can find them and complete any quests related to them on either mode.
Now, the fact that their spawn locations are completely random doesn’t mean we can’t give you some info to help hunt them down!
The first thing to note is that you want to stay mobile. Use vehicles, your glider, and Launch Pads to cover as much of the map as fast as possible. The faster you can explore the map, the more likely you are to stumble upon one of those Golden Llamas. Golden Llamas seem to only spawn out in the open, thankfully.
The second main thing to know is that Golden Llamas have a very noticeable golden glow. It makes sense, considering how shiny these golden beasties are! The golden glow makes them easy to spot even at a distance, especially during nighttime.
Lastly, Golden Llamas don’t move. Unlike regular Supply Llamas, they stay put in their spawn location no matter what.
