February 2025 was an especially busy month for new PS5 releases — and it would have been even busier had Assassin’s Creed Shadows not been delayed into March!
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 kicked off last month in a big way, with the hardcore RPG racking up seriously impressive review scores before wowing players both new and old.
Meanwhile, the mental Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii offered something familiar but fresh, and of course, February was closed out by the seemingly almighty Monster Hunter Wilds. That’s a lot of game!
But let’s not overlook the likes of Civilization 7 and Trails through Daybreak 2. Those two titles couldn’t be more different — and they may not have commanded headlines quite like the aforementioned trio — but they still brought additional quality to a packed schedule.
