Konami has revealed it’ll be hosting a Silent Hill Transmission livestream this week on Thursday, 13th March 2025, with the intention to publicly unveil Silent Hill F. The game was announced more than two years ago at the same time as the Silent Hill 2 remake and Silent Hill: Townfall, though neither it nor Townfall have been seen in the time since.
Silent Hill F is being developed by Neobards Entertainment, and the story comes from Higurashi When They Cry writer Ryukishi07. Here’s the synopsis we got at the time of its announcement: “SILENT HILL f – will be a completely new story set in 1960’s Japan featuring a beautiful, yet horrifying world. Written by Ryūkishi07, famed for Japanese visual novels dealing with murder mysteries, psychological and supernatural horror.”
The tweet from Konami confirming the livestream reads: “Join us for the SILENT HILL Transmission, where we’ll share the latest news streaming March 13 at 3:00pm PDT. This Transmission will uncover SILENT HILL f.” That will be 10pm GMT / 6pm ET.
Off the back of the excellent Silent Hill 2 remake from Bloober Team, there’s a good degree of excitement surrounding the survival horror series again. As a brand new entry, Silent Hill F will mark the first original foray into the IP since Konami returned to AAA development. Will you be tuning in for the Transmission?
