Helldivers 2 has a lot of amazing drip! Nearly all armors are fantastic from the Killzone crossover to the last Warbond released, Servants of Freedom. We don’t know what Arrowhead is currently cooking, but the release of the next Helldivers 2 Warbond shouldn’t be too far away, and a dev has teased that their “favorite” armor hasn’t released yet.
Helldivers 2 teases their “favorite” armor
On the official Helldivers Discord, community manager, Baskinator, was asked what is their “favorite drip”. In response, Baskinator teased, “It hasn’t been released yet”.
As for what’s currently in the game, Baskinator said, “I love the VC [Viper Commandos] stuff especially that red beret, and I love all the flight suit styles with the extra pouches. Right now I think I’m wearing nox ranger helmet with EX-00”.
In another message, the community manager added, “TE [Truth Enforcer] is also great armor. I love a good theme. I really love that we’re leaning into these stronger fantasies in the Warbonds. It’s hard to do because you have to make sure it also looks good in our universe, but I think the MoD team does an incredible job”.
When is the next HD2 Warbond?
We don’t have an official release date or announcement for the next Helldivers 2 Warbond, but it shouldn’t be too far away. This is because Arrowhead typically stick to releasing a new Warbond every six-to-seven weeks.
Truth Enforcers came out on October 31st, and was then followed by the Killzone crossover on December 23rd, which was then succeeded by Servants of Freedom on February 6th. Assuming Arrowhead stick to six-to-seven weeks again, the next Warbond should come out on either March 20th or 27th.
Arrowhead also typically announce the new bundle one week before its release, so it depends on when the announcement is made. Leaks haven’t revealed a new Warbond yet, but leaks in the past still yet to materialize include Dune-esque armor and guns. Arrowhead has also confirmed that the next crossover Warbond is in-development, and it’s possible this has leaked courtesy of a melee weapon.
