- Birds Camp is out now for Android and coming soon to iOS
- It sees you defending Boulder Island with the help of the titular birds
- Wield 60 different cards, take on 50+ levels and more!
The tower defence genre is one that’s uniquely suited to mobile, by my reckoning. Rather than seating yourself at a PC for a long and gruelling session you can actively walk around and take your strategic mindset on the go. You could almost say you’re free as a bird. And with that strained metaphor aside, let’s look at today’s subject Bird Camp!
Out now for Android and set to arrive June 30th for iOS, Bird Camp sees you taking on the role of a group of birds defending their bases on Boulder Island. These high-tech avians boast a bevvy of defences, with 60 different cards to build your deck, and 7 bird squads with 8 different units to command and synergise.
Unleash your birds’ skills in order to destroy the enemy as you grind them to dust with your defences. But be careful, because you’ll have to also contend with a vast variety of terrain to duke it out in, 50+ levels and three battle modes to conquer. That’s on top of a huge host of other additional content for you to grapple with as you defend Boulder Island from its various invasive species!
Those are some angry birds
With all its cards to pick from and even the addition of 50+ talismans to further modify your run, I think it’s fair to say that Birds Camp is brimming with content. Its cutesy art style and the ever-popular subject of avians that seems to be peculiarly commonplace on mobile, I reckon, will make this a popular one with fans.
