Kojima Productions revealed Death Stranding 2: On the Beach launches on June 26. 2025.
At an event at SXSW 2025, Hideo Kojima took to the stage to showcase a new trailer and reveal several new editions, which you can pre-order beginning on March 17.
The trailer introduced new characters, including Luca Marinelli’s Neil, who weirdly resembles Kojima’s iconic character, Snake, from the Metal Gear series. Rather than working alone, though, Neil has a team of supernatural-looking soldiers. We also see a mech resembling Metal Gear in the trailer, new tar monsters, and more.
The Collector’s Edition for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach was revealed, costs $229 USD/$329 CAD and includes the following:

At the event at SXSW 2025, Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is also hosting a Stranding Harmony Concert Series. The concert series features a full orchestra performing music from the series and begins on November 8, 2025, with a show at the Sydney Opera House in Australia. Dates are available here.
