You already know about our big confirmed list of 2025 Xbox Game Pass titles here at Pure Xbox, and we also provide monthly ones as well, but what about the rumoured titles? Well, we’ve heard about a quite a few so far in 2025 already!
So, in this roundup, we’re going to pick out the rumoured Xbox Game Pass titles that will hopefully arrive in the near future, and we’ll tell you where the rumour originated from as well. Let’s get cracking, shall we?
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time
The latest mainline entry in the Crash Bandicoot series was rumoured to be heading to Xbox Game Pass by known Xbox leaker eXtas1s earlier in the year, and at the time they suggested it appeared to be arriving in February 2025.
That obviously didn’t end up happening, but we’re crossing our fingers it’ll join the list at some point very soon.
Heroes of the Storm (PC)
The same rumour that suggested Crash Bandicoot would be coming to Xbox Game Pass mentioned that Madden NFL 25 and Heroes of the Storm would be too. Madden did join the list soon afterwards, but we’re still waiting on the others.
This is a weird one because Heroes of the Storm is a free-to-play title on PC, so we’re assuming that if the rumour ends up being true, we’re looking at some kind of premium edition or maybe even an Xbox Game Pass Perk instead.
The Patrick Star Game
Released last year, The Patrick Star Game didn’t exactly fare well with us here at Pure Xbox, but it’s still likely to prove a popular Xbox Game Pass title – and Xbox fans seem to have spotted a suggestion that it’s on the way very soon.
Some eagle-eyed users have noticed a Game Pass Ultimate advert that temporarily showed up on the Xbox dashboard featuring The Patrick Star Game, so don’t be surprised if it ends up being included in an upcoming batch of titles.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (& other classic CoD titles)
In recent months, Microsoft has been adding loads of classic Call of Duty games to the Microsoft Store for PC, which usually indicates that an Xbox Game Pass drop is set to happen in the near future. Nearly all of them are now part of the store, so either they’ll be dripped out to Game Pass members, or they might all land at the exact same time.
The only specific detail we’ve heard about is that Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (either the Xbox 360 version or the 2020 campaign remaster) will apparently be heading to Xbox Game Pass in the very near future.
Of course, if we go back to 2024, there are other titles we could add to this roundup such as Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 and various other Activision Blizzard games, but we haven’t heard anything recent about their Game Pass status.
It’s also worth noting that Xbox Game Pass titles seem very difficult to predict, and we often don’t know anything about the surprise additions until Microsoft suddenly reveals them – or shadow drops them! We do keep a track of absolutely everything that’s been announced for Game Pass though, and the list is absolutely stacked for 2025 already!
