Recent reports have revealed that game prices for Nintendo Switch in Latin America have increased. While this change does not affect the global market, some sources suggest that Nintendo Switch 2 games will see a price increase worldwide.
According to Centro Leaks, which mainly shares Pokemon-related leaks, Nintendo Switch 2 games will be priced at $70, aligning with the standard price of PS5 and Xbox Series X|S titles.
Nintendo Switch 2 Games Could Be More Expensive

Centro Leaks previously reported that the Nintendo Switch 2 would feature a larger screen. This was later confirmed in Nintendo’s official announcement, showcasing the console’s bigger size, and this means Centro does know early info, and isn’t just making stuff up for clout.
Nintendo has historically kept its game prices lower than other modern consoles, typically selling at $60 instead of $70. However, with rising development costs, the company might follow the industry trend and adjust prices accordingly.
Nintendo has always had flexible pricing, with some first-party games priced at $50, most at $60, and only a few exceeding $70. Some exceptions exist, such as Ring Fit Adventure, which costs $80 due to its additional hardware.
Even if Nintendo does increase prices, it is likely to continue offering different price ranges depending on the game. As of now, the company has not officially confirmed any price hikes. As with any other unconfirmed information, treat this one with a grain of salt until Nintendo verifies or debunks it.
